Professional Background

Erik manages the Intranets Practice at Compass365, a division of General Networks Corporation.  Leveraging his last 20 years of experience with the Microsoft SharePoint platform and related Microsoft technologies, Erik works with client daily to define, build, and support business solutions on the latest on-premises SharePoint and Office 365 platforms.

Prior to joining General Networks, Erik was a Partner, Senior SharePoint Architect, Manager of Software Engineering, and Developer at Microsoft Gold Partner Solien Technology .  While at Solien, Erik consulted for small and large, private and public organizations to build custom software solutions primarily on the Microsoft technology stack. 

Erik's experience includes hands-on work building solutions on Office 365/SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2001-2016, IIS, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Active Directory, ISA, ASP.NET, C# and Java.  He has architected and built numerous single and multi-server SharePoint farms to support clients' content management, document management, and records management requirements.  Erik has also designed and developed stand-alone and integrated custom solutions on and off the SharePoint platform for his clients.
